3 March 2017 (Hina) - Land surveying offices offer electronic filing and issuance of documents

Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic on Friday formally marked the beginning of a new service of the electronic filing and issuance of documents in the country's Land Surveying Administration that will simplify procedures for document provision in this administration.

Plenkovic said that the implementation of the application One Stop Shop was an important headway in efforts to merge the land registry offices currently at municipal courts and the offices of the Land Surveying Administration.

All this makes procedures simpler, faster and more efficient, he added.

Construction and Zoning Minister Lovro Kuscevic said that so far 40% of the land registry offices and offices of the Land Surveying Administration had been merged.

Justice Minister Ante Sprlje described the introduction of the new service for obtaining on-line data as historic.

Land Surveying Administration head Damir Santek said that the administration had 112 offices with 1,277 employees on its payroll.

Annually, the offices receive 60,000 land surveys, and issue about 90,000 land survey plans as well as 80,000 ownership certificates for various purposes.
